This is a conversation my brother and I had. He's an incredible teacher.
Who is more real, you or God?
Lets say you draw a picture of a stick figure on a piece of paper. You name your stick figure Joe, you give him a stick figure wife, stick figure kids, and a stick figure life. Who is more real... you or the stick figure? Well of course it's you. You made Joe, you created him. you are more real than what you created.
I'm sure by now you see where I'm going. Who is more real? The God that created you and your life or you, God's stick-figure-Joe, whom he happens to adore. God is more real than you, me, this world. He's more real than anything I have ever really known.
whew! chew on that one for a while :)
and this is a THANK YOU to two of my closest friends: Katie Riley and Tiffany Hooper. I realized something yesterday... that sometimes i have to reach out for other people because I can't quite make it on my own. I look at it this way. God is my backbone, my life, my source, my everything. But sometimes, I get a low blow.. or something happens... and I'm required to use crutches for support. Yesterday my "crutches" were Katie on my right, and Tiffany on my left. I couldn't "walk" so well yesterday, but I had help. Help that lifted some of the weight off of the hurting part and helped heal me, and now here I am today, walking on my own, jumping and leaping with joy.
Also, I put my cat in the dryer yesterday. No wait, let me explain- she climbed in the dryer, my mom proceded to shut the door, and I continued to turn it on. and before you think I'm a horrible person let me tell you that she was only in there for 1.003 seconds, and I opened the door immediately. Yeah I felt kind of bad about it, but it had to be the funniest thing of my week :)
