Tragically flawed- wonderfully forgiven :)

Today was weird.

I really should just leave it at that. But I won't. When do I ever? :)

I learned a valuable lesson today. I decided to go for a walk for a little exercise and was looking all over for my MP3 player, but couldn't find it. It turned out to be the biggest blessing ever. Instead of mindlessly listening to songs- I prayed. I prayed and interceded and it was incredible. If you're reading this, I probably prayed for you. It was such an awesome experience. Actually, it was downright funny for a while. See, I was walking through the cemetary, talking outloud to God, and my arms were cold so I pulled them in my shirt for 10 minutes or so. Quite a sight if you can imagine. Needless to say, it was incredible. I highly encourage you to try it.

Also! I was reading in Joyce Meyer's book "The Confident Woman" today about boldness and confidence (obviously) and she said this. Get ready, it's good:

"We are what we are due to His grace and mercy"

Whew! Let that sink in for like 2 seconds before you go on. 1.....2. Ok cool. That is one area that God has been teaching me about over the last couple of weeks. That without Him, I am scum. I am nothing special. I have nothing, I will be nothing, I am nothing. But with Him? Wow. I'm his set apart, loved, adored, cherished, wonderful, blessed, daughter. I'm a conquerer, a warrior, strong, and bold. But it's not because of me. It's because of HIM!

This book is brilliant. If you're a woman I highly encourgae you to read it. Heck if you're a man I highly encourage you to read it!

Todays Low point: The tigers lost?! What's up with that?

Anyhow, I ask you with this question: What do you do, when you're in a crowded room full of people, and feel completely alone? You pray and you say "God why do I feel this way?" and wait for an answer! haha however long it may take to get an answer...that's what you do :)

and I remind you: it's ok to be different, and it's ok to feel different. Being set apart is the whole point. Who wants to be like everyone else anyway?

aaaand I think that's where I'll end this, haha take care!
