It's no wonder people are celebrating Christmas so early this year! I had almost forgotten how good this time of the year feels.... how refreshing Christmas music can be....

This week's Christmas thought to chew on: When I was a little girl, I was told that there was a man named Santa who came to my house every Christmas, shimmy'd down my chimney, and left me presents. but he turned out not to be real. Then I was told, that there was this bunny. and every Easter he would come to my house and leave me a basket full of candy AND hide eggs all over my house for me to find! but he turned out not to be real either. but THEN there was the tooth fairy. and every time I lost a tooth she would come and leave me money, yes money under my pillow- for losing a tooth for crying out loud! but she turned out not to be real. and then I heard about this man Jesus. He loved me so much that He came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on a cross so I could be with Him some day.......... catch my drift?

Just thinking about this makes me consider never telling my children anything about Santa or the Easter Bunny. Come Christmas morning they will know that Jesus gave them their presents.

No one else. Just a thought :)

I've considered that too... Becky's parents told her there was no Santa, and she turned out fine... :o)
