Ok so this week God taught me a very important lesson. Have you ever heard anyone say the phrase "Feel the fear, and do it anyway" ? There is so much truth in that statement. The best way I can explain it is through example. This evening, I felt the need to pray with someone that I have never ever prayed with before. Someone very close to me, that I pray a lot for privately. But tonight, I wanted to pray FOR him, WITH him. and as soon as I decided to do it I immediately felt afraid. Why?! Why would I feel afraid to pray with someone?? oh!! I know, because Satan doesn't want me to. Fear is not of God. ok? get it? got it? so stop living in it. As soon as I felt afraid to pray with him, I knew I had to do it. When I feel fear, it's a sign that I'm supposed to do whatever it is that is scaring me.
Now please, don't be ridiculous and say, well then why don't you drive down to 8 mile and set up a lemonade stand, because that is just plain stupid, and if anyone would even think that then you, my friend, need to grow up. Anyhow, this is the 2nd or 3rd time this week that I have felt afraid to do something, did it anyway, and was completely and totally used by God and blessed in the process.
So please, I beg you, feel the fear and do it anyway!
P.S. I also learned why I am in Lowell. It's taken me 5 months to figure it out, but now I know :)
